Photography

Photographs are from Morguefile, used under its license, which permits commercial use and does not require attribution. Copyright stays with the photographers who contributed them, so these images are not public domain. The license asks for credit rather than requiring it, which is what this page is for.

Any image from somewhere else names its source on the article carrying it, because most other licenses do require that.

Type

Headings are set in Playfair Display and body text in Inter Tight, both under the SIL Open Font License. They are served from this domain rather than from a font CDN, so reading a page here makes no third-party requests.

Figures

Every number on this site carries its source and the date it was read, on the page that uses it. The pay figures come from ZipRecruiter, Glassdoor and Salary.com, each named individually rather than averaged together, and from the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics series for occupation 27-1023, which is the only one of them that publishes its method.

The flower calendar is general trade practice rather than one grower’s records, which the page says plainly. Treat it as a strong starting point and check locally.
